BRIDGEWATER — Kynedi Cheeseman recorded 18 kills and 10 digs to lead the Hanson Beavers over Bridgewater-Emery in a close five-set high school volleyball match Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-23, 25-15, 24-26, 23-25, 16-14.

For Hanson, Katlyn Schroeder had 15 kills, three blocks and three aces, while Sydney Dodd recorded 13 kills, two blocks and three aces. Hailey Doyle added two blocks, 21 assists and five aces, Emily Brown had 26 assists and Leah Marsh recorded 20 digs.

Alycia Kayser had 11 kills, one block, Mallory Haiar had seven kills and one block and Justine Dye recorded six kills, two blocks, 14 digs and eight aces in the loss. Aly Hanssen had 14 assists and 11 digs, while Hannah Harberts added 12 assists, six digs and two aces. Chesney Arend had 19 digs and Brenda Weber added 14 digs.

Hanson (12-1) won the JV match and hosts Canistota Thursday, while Bridgewater-Emery (6-5) travels to play Marion Thursday.

Winner 3, Colome 0

COLOME — The Winner volleyball team beat Colome in three sets Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-13, 25-12.

Cassidy Hanson had nine kills and two aces to lead the way for Winner.

Sara Husher added three aces and 12 digs. While Lindsey Calhoon had eight kills and Emily Richey had 15 digs.

Colome was led by Mariah Kinzer and Lauren Week. Kinzer had six kills, while Week recorded four aces and seven assists. Rylee Jo Rutten added 11 digs for the Cowgirls.

Colome (1-8) plays in the Kimball/White Lake tournament Saturday in Kimball. Winner (13-1) plays in the Eastern Classic tournament at Dakota Valley.

Kimball/White Lake 3, Corsica/Stickney 1

STICKNEY — Ivy Haines had 12 aces and 14 kills to help Kimball/White Lake defeat Corsica/Stickney in four sets Tuesday.

Set scores were 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Jazmyn Hinker had 10 kills, 11 digs and three aces for the WiLdKats. Mary Kroupa chipped in with 35 assists.

Corsica/Stickney was led by Jackie Dethlefsen. Dethlefsen recorded 11 kills, three blocks and two aces. Hope Menning added 10 digs, six kills and two aces, while Rachel Milligan had 20 assists.

Kimball/White Lake (6-4) plays Colome at the Kimball/White Lake tournament Saturday in Kimball. Corsica/Stickney (0-12) hosts Wessington Springs in Stickney.

Wagner 3, Bon Homme 2

WAGNER — The Wagner Red Raiders earned their 11th win of the season, beating Bon Homme in a five-set high school volleyball match Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-13, 20-25, 25-12, 23-25, 18-16.

Kim Koupal had 20 kills and 12 digs for Wagner, while Brooklyn Tolliver had nine aces and 21 digs. Gina Soukup added 12 kills and Ali Kuca had four blocks, while Kayla Deurmier had 26 assists and Krista Dvorak had 18.

Caitlin McLouth recorded 27 kills to lead the way for Bon Homme. Kelsey Sutera had 12 kills and 22 digs for the Cavaliers, while Morgan Rothschadl added 30 digs and Alie Adams had 36 assists.

Wagner (11-3) won the JV match and plays Vermillion Monday in Vermillion. Bon Homme (10-4) plays Burke/South Central Thursday Bonesteel.

Wessington Springs 3, Dakota Christian 0

NEW HOLLAND —The Wessington Springs volleyball team defeated Dakota Christian in 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 Tuesday.

Devin Tebay had three kills, six blocks and two digs to lead the way for Wessington Springs. Shyanne Kopfman had six kills, two digs and one ace, while Morgan Tebay chipped in with five kills, four assists, one block and one digs.

Dakota Christian was led by Kennedy Muckey with four kills, three blocks and four digs. Lydia Hansum added two kills, two blocks, five digs and one ace.

Dakota Christian (2-6) plays Andes Central Thursday in Lake Andes, while Wessington Springs (4-6) won the JV game and plays Saturday at the Kimball/White Lake tournament in Kimball.

McCook Central/Montrose 3, Flandreau 0

MONTROSE — Danielle Hansen had 15 kills and three blocks to lead McCook Central/Montrose past Flandreau 25-23, 25-18, 25-14 Tuesday.

C.J. Ristesund added 13 kills, 17 digs and one assist for the Fighting Cougars. Laura Klaudt had 33 assists, nine digs and three aces.

Marisa Hare led the way for Flandreau with six kills and seven blocks.

MCM (4-9) plays at Parkston Thursday.

Marion 3, Scotland 2

SCOTLAND — The Marion Bears defeated the Scotland Highlanders in a five-set high school volleyball match Tuesday.

Set scores were 23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 17-25, 15-11.

Devin Nelson had 18 kills and 24 digs to lead the way for Marion. Erica Schoenwald added 13 kills and nine blocks for the Bears.

Amber Alvey led Scotland with 29 assists, two kills, two aces and eight digs.

Carley Skorepa added 12 kills, three blocks, 26 digs and four aces for the Highlanders.

Marion (7-3) plays Bridgewater-Emery Thursday in Marion. Scotland (5-4) plays Ethan Thursday in Ethan.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3,

Wolsey-Wessington 1

FORESTBURG — The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket volleyball team defeated Wolsey-Wessington in four sets Thursday.

Set scores were 22-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

Marissa Weber led the way for the Blackhawks, recording 19 kills, six aces and 18 digs.

Myah Selland had five blocks and seven kills, while Savannah Swenson had 16 digs and seven kills.

Brittany Bergquist led Wolsey-Wessington with 13 kills and seven blocks.

SC/W (7-4) won the JV game and plays at Iroquois Thursday, while Wolsey-Wessington (5-5) plays James Valley Christian Friday.

Platte-Geddes 3, Burke/ South Central 0

BURKE — The Platte-Geddes volleyball team defeated Burke/South 25-18, 25-22, 25-21 Tuesday.

Josie DeGroot had 12 kills and six blocks to lead the way for Platte-Geddes. Maddi Whalen chipped in with seven assists, two digs and one ace, while Shelby Johnson had one ace, two kills and four digs.

Grace Hazen had three aces and three kills to lead the way for Burke/South Central. Allison Sebern had three kills and three digs for Cougars. Kaydee Kirwan added three digs and four assists.

Burke/South Central (1-10) hosts Bon Homme Thursday in Bonesteel. Platte-Geddes (4-5) plays Dakota Christian Tuesday in Platte.

Lyman 3, Wall 0

PRESHO — Anna Flitner had 17 kills, 21 digs, three blocks and four aces to help Lyman beat Wall in a high school volleyball match Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-22, 25-15.

Jessica Welter added seven kills and two aces, while Sara Herman had 26 digs for the Raiders.

Brooklyn Halverson had five kills and Carly Uthe had 13 digs for Lyman.

Lyman (13-4) hosts Chamberlain Thursday in Presho.

Oldham-Ramona/Ruthland 3, Howard 1

HOWARD — Howard fell to Oldham-Ramona/Ruthland in four sets Tuesday.

Set scores were 25-21, 25-18, 15-25, 25-18.

Shelby Thompson led the way for Howard with 13 kills.

Haylee DeJong and Taylor Noid each had five kills for Howard. Noid added four aces, while Kesley Dawson had seven kills.

Howard (1-11) plays in a tournament Saturday in Howard.

Andes Central 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 1

LAKE ANDES — Payton Johanneson recorded 17 kills to help Andes Central defeat Tripp-Delmont/Armour Tuesday.

Set scores were 24-26, 26-24, 25-18, 25-16.

Dennisha Johanneson added 13 kills, three blocks and seven aces for the Eagles, while Emily Houseman had 27 assists and nine digs.

TDA was led by Jessica Sandau with eight kills, 11 assists and two aces. Becca Brown chipped in with five kills and 10 digs, while Hannah Just added seven kills and six assists for the Nighthawks.

Andes Central (4-6) plays Dakota Christian Thursday in Lake Andes TDA (2-8) won the JV match and hosts Mitchell Christian Thursday in Tripp.
