KIMBALL — The Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan football team grabbed control of a top seed for the playoffs with a 49-14 win over Kimball/White Lake Friday in Kimball.

The Seahawks locked home-field advantage for the first round of the Class 9AA playoffs.

The Seahawks controlled the game on the ground with 41 carries for 311 yards. Running back Wade Miller ran the ball 17 times for 182 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Grosdidier added touchdown runs of 49, 33 and 10 yards in the win.

Eathen Gaulke led the WiLdKats with 20 carries for 138 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Dalton Bely added a two-yard touchdown run for Kimball/White Lake.

The Seahawks (7-1) have a bye in the final week of the regular-season, while the WiLdKats (5-2) play Corsica/Stickney at 7 p.m. Thursday in Corsica.

MISSION — Chamberlain ran the ball 75 times for 477 yards in a 40-8 win over Todd County Friday in Mission.

The Cubs were led by Hunter Hallock with 34 carries for 210 yards and five touchdowns. Chris Schwartz added 26 carries for 168 yards and a score.

Jim Bob Ellsworth led the Cub defense with eight and a half tackles.

Chamberlain (3-4) plays Crow Creek at 7 p.m. Thursday in Chamberlain.

CANTON — Canton rolled up 377 rushing yards in a 50-20 win over Wagner in high school football action Friday in Canton.

Jake Ablett finished with 156 yards rushing on 17 carries and scored one touchdown for Canton, while Cody Majeres added three total touchdowns in the win.

Wagner was led by David Kocer with 21 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Noah St. Pierre ran back a kickoff 90 yards for the Red Raiders in the loss.

Wagner (4-3) ends its regular season against Winner at 7 p.m. Thursday in Winner.

PRESHO — Lane Patterson passed for 151 yards and four touchdowns to lead Kadoka Area to a 60-6 win over Lyman in high school football action Friday in Presho.

Running back Chandlier Sudbeck carried the ball 14 times for 171 yards and two touchdowns for the Kougars, while Logan Ammons caught three passes for 121 yards and three scores.

Trey Mundlien found the end zone for the Raiders, rushing for 22 yards on nine carries.

Lyman (1-6) finishes its regular season against Jones County at 7 p.m. Thursday in Murdo.

Burke/South Central 43, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 0

ARMOUR — Turner Serr rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns and caught one reception for 70 yards and a touchdown to lead Burke/South Central over Tripp-Delmont/Armour 43-0 Friday.

Levi Schonebaum rushed for 46 yards and tallied 11 tackles and made one interception for the Cougars, who had 267 total rushing yards. Quarterback Zach Sebern threw for 70 yards and one touchdown.

Jordan Jones had nine tackles and Michael Clark recorded nine tackles and a sack in the win.

Tyson Gregerson had 45 rushing yards and Gunnar Dally recorded 35 yards on the ground for the Nighthawks. Shane Koster threw for 29 yards and

Thierno Diop led the receiving corps with 27 yards. Defensively, Austin Fischer had nine tackles and Dally and Diop each had five tackles in the loss.

The Cougars (5-2) host Colome Thursday in Burke, while the Nighthawks (1-6) play at Gregory Thursday.

ELK POINT — The Bon Homme football team scored 20 third-quarter points to pull away and defeat Elk Point-Jefferson 42-6 Friday.

Dakota Bodden had 11 carries for 165 yards and three touchdowns for Bon Homme. He also recorded a touchdown threw the air to Zach Sutera for61 yards. Bodden was 4-for-7 for 84 yards. Cole Uecker also scored on a 42-yard touchdown run for the Cavaliers.

Bon Homme (5-2) hosts Parkston Thursday in Tyndall.

STICKNEY — Austin Messmer rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries to lead Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central over Corsica/Stickney 36-28 Friday in high school football action.

The Blackhawks’ Landon Oschner had three carries for 67 yards and one touchdown, while Joe Davis threw for 65 yards on 6-of-9 passing. Jarid Bechen had a game-high 12 tackles and Messmer tallied 11 in the win.

The Blackhawks racked up 286 total offensive yards.

Mason VanVuuren had 15 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown, while Austin Tilton rushed 18 yards and a score on two carries. Brian Joachim was 7-of-8 in passing for 85 yards for Corsica/Stickney, which totaled 217 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were led defensively by Cade Rexwinkle with 11 tackles and VanVuuren and Cardel Boomsa each added 10.

The Jaguars (4-3) host Kimball/White Lake Thursday in Stickney, while the Blackhawks (5-2) host Wolsey-Wessington Thursday in Woonsocket.

Paradeis also made two catches for 58 yards and a score, while Jerrod Zens completed 4 of 6 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns for Hanson. Wyatt Kayser rushed for 86 yards on nine carries, while Levi Doyle led defensively with seven tackles.

REDFIELD — Parkston forced four turnovers in 30-0 win over Redfield-Doland in high school football action Friday in Redfield.

Mitch Heisinger, Miles Semmler and Brady Reiff each topped 60 yards rushing and combined for two touchdowns for Parkston in the win.

Miles Semmler added seven tackles and an interception for the Trojans, while Jordan Grover and Ethan Murtha each added an interception. Wes Dvorakhad a one-yard touchdown run and kicked a 23-yard field goal for Parkston in the win.

Parkston (6-1) finishes its regular season against Bon Homme at 7 p.m. Thursday in Tyndall.

SCOTLAND — Scotland finished its regular season with a 50-0 win over Marty Indian in high school football action Friday in Scotland.

The Highlanders outgained Marty 332 to 55 in the game, with 265 of their yards coming on the ground.

Seth Ireland led the Highlanders had a team-high 76 yards rushing and caught a 30 yard touchdown pass from Shaye Bloch. Blake Konstanz ran for two scores including a 30-yard scamper in the third quarter for Scotland.

Bloch passed for 67 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground.

Scotland’s (4-4) regular season is complete and the team will now wait to see if it is a part of the 9B playoffs.

PLATTE — Terrance Kinzer filled up the stat sheet for Colome in a 52-30 win over Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian Friday in Platte.

The senior quarterback carried the ball 13 times for 317 yards and four touchdowns for the Cowboys. Kinzer also found Jacob Worden for 13 yard touchdown

On defense Kinzer added three interceptions, while Jacob Worden added 12 tackles in the win.

Stats for Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian were not reported despite attempts to contact coaches.

Colome (6-1) plays Burke/South Central at 7 p.m. Thursday in Burke.

Kylar Hansen finished 8-of-12 for 142 yards passing and three touchdowns. Tyler Cleveland, Cody Condon and Eric Hanson each caught touchdown passes for the Fighting Cougars. Will Gottlob had a team-high 14 tackles for MC/M, while Cleveland added 11 tackles.

The Fighting Cougars (3-4) finish their season against Sioux Falls Christian at 7 p.m. Thursday in Salem.
