DIMOCK -- The Dimock/Emery amateur baseball team allowed five hits in a shutout victory over Tripp/Delmont Sunday in Dimock.

The No. 4 Raptors were led by starting pitcher Kyle Larson in the 7-0 Sunshine League win. Larson threw the complete game shutout, allowing five hits and struck out 13.

Jared Schmidt led the Dimock/Emery offense with three hits, while Jeremy Zens added two hits. Derrick Miller finished with a triple and an RBI for the Raptors, who improve to 18-6 overall and 8-3 in the Sunshine League.

Tripp/Delmont was led by Brandon Auch with two hits. Auch took the loss on the mound for Tripp/Delmont. He pitched seven innings, allowing three runs on 12 hits and struck out seven.

Dimock/Emery continues Sunshine League play against Mount Vernon at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Vernon.

Mitchell 10, Parkston Bullheads 0

The Mitchell Mad Dogs held the Parkston Bullheads to one hit in a 10-0 win in seven innings in a Sunshine League matchup Sunday at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.

Trevor Arnold picked up the win for the Mad Dogs. He threw six innings, walked three and struck out five.

Sam Schumacher finished with three hits, including an RBI double and scored two runs. Nolan Miller added two hits and two RBIs, while Jason Skinner had two doubles and three RBIs.

Mike Chytka took the loss on the mound for the Bullheads. He pitched five innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and struck out three.

Van Spease picked up the only hit for the Bullheads.

Mitchell (10-5, 8-5 SL) plays Dimock/Emery at 8 p.m. Thursday at Cadwell Park.

Corsica/Stickney 1, Platte 0

CORSICA -- With the game scoreless in the bottom of the ninth inning, Corsica/Stickney scored a walk-off 1-0 Sunshine League win over Platte on an error Sunday in Corsica.

The Horned Frogs were led by Alex Kocer, who pitched the complete game shutout. Kocer allowed five hits and struck out five.

Hayden Kuiper took the loss for the Killer Tomatoes. He threw nine innings, allowing one unearned run on eight hits and struck out five.

Ryan Buck and Aaron Groenweg each finished with two hits for the Horned Frogs, while Jordan Johnson had two hits for Platte.

Corsica/Stickney (9-7, 7-7 SL) plays the Parkston Mudcats at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Parkston. The Mudcats game Sunday against Miller was canceled due to low number of players for Miller.

Wessington Springs 16, Chamberlain 0

CHAMBERLAIN -- The Wessington Springs Owls topped Chamberlain 16-0 in a Pony Hills League matchup Sunday in Chamberlain.

The Owls stayed perfect in the Pony Hills with starting pitcher Adam Kaus getting the win on the mound. He pitched seven innings, allowing three hits and struck out four.

Tyler Waddle finished with four hits for Wessington Springs, while Kaus, Zach Cranston and Armando Rodriguez each added three hits in the win.

Wessington Springs (7-5, 6-0 PH) plays Kimball/White Lake at 8 p.m. Thursday in Wessington Springs.
