Aberdeen teacher faces April trial in ND on sex charge
PARK RIVER, N.D. (AP) — An April 2 trial date has been set for a teacher in the northeastern North Dakota town of Park River who is accused of twice having sex with a 16-year-old girl.
KNOX radio reports that 25-year-old fifth-grade teacher Justin Kiefer has pleaded not guilty to two counts of corrupting a minor last November. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Kiefer also is a girls hockey coach. The school district placed him on administrative leave.
Court documents list Kiefer's address as Aberdeen.
