$3.6M apartment building being built in Aberdeen
ABERDEEN (AP) — Officials have broken ground for a $3.6 million apartment building in Aberdeen.
The American News reports that the 41-unit, three-story Jackson Heights building will be owned and operated by the Aberdeen Housing Authority. Rental rates will be based on occupants' incomes.
Housing Authority Director Jody Zueger says officials hope the new building reduces waiting lists at other properties the agency oversees.
