There were 160 people in attendance and there were many area landowners who are interested in learning about new programs and research being done to increase pheasant population in South Dakota, according to Pheasants Forever volunteer Debra Kuchera.

Dean Strand, of the Davison County Conservation office; Mandy Orth, P.h.D. student studying upland birds from South Dakota State University; and Mike Blaalid, a local Pheasants Forever farm bill biologist, all gave presentations during the banquet.

Also, the Pheasants Forever Giveaway day is April 5 for area members. For more information, visit pheasantcountry.org.
