The Mitchell Emergency Response Unit inspects its new armored personal carrier on loan from the federal government Tuesday afternoon in downtown Mitchell. The unit needs to conduct driver training and familiarize itself with the vehicle before qualifying to operate it, according to Mitchell patrol Sgt. Dave Beintema.
