Larry Holland has been working for the Howard School District since 1970, having served as a teacher, coach and guidance counselor until his retirement in 2012. Since retirement, Holland has continued to work as a school bus driver with today as his last official day. Gov. Dennis Daugaard has declared April 28, 2017, Larry Holland Day in his honor.
